The Zoning Inspector is an employee of Muhlenberg Township, hired by the Board of Trustees.
The Inspector’s responsibilities include: enforcing the Zoning Resolution, investigating complaints from residents, issuing zoning certificates, collecting fees, making and keeping records, inspecting buildings or lands, and advising the Zoning Board and the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Zoning Secretary is to assist in the administration of this Zoning Resolution, the Township Trustees shall appoint a Zoning Secretary whose duty it shall be to maintain township zoning records, confirm information in applications, process all notices required under this Zoning Resolution, record the minutes of the Zoning Commission and the board of zoning appeals, assist the Zoning Inspector, and perform such other duties relating to this Zoning Resolution as the Township Trustees may from time to time direct.
The Board of Zoning Appeals meets on an as-needed basis.
